Firefighters extinguished a blaze that broke out April 18 in a dry-docked sailboat at a Fort Pierce marina, according to the St. Lucie County Fire District.
Crews responded at 11:40 a.m. to the marina on Old Dixie Highway following a report of a vessel fire.

Flames were coming from the 30-foot sailboat when firefighters arrived. Crews brought the blaze under control, containing the damage to the boat.
No one was injured and no one was taken to a hospital. The boat was unoccupied. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
