It’s business as usual for former Florida State kicker Ryan Fitzgerald. The kicker for the Seminoles from 2020 to 2024 was an undrafted free agent signed by the Carolina Panthers, and he appears to be doing great in the league.
In 2025, Fitzgerald made 24 of his 29 field goal attempts and 27 of his 30 extra-point attempts. In week nine against the Green Bay Packers, he hit a game-winning walk-off field goal in a very windy game. In addition, he hit another clutch last-second field goal against the Dallas Cowboys to win 30-27.
At FSU, Fitzgerald was perfect in 2023 and 2024 on extra points, going 58 of 58 and 14 of 14, respectively. He also led the ACC in points scored with 115 in 2023. His 13-for-13 field goals in 2024 were tied for the best in the FBS.
Fitzgerald recently made a 61-yard field goal for the Panthers in a preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and fans of both FSU and Carolina have had no shortage of praise.
