REPORT: Multiple FSU starters to return vs Stanford

The Florida State Seminoles could be getting multiple starters and several key offensive players back for Saturday’s game against the Stanford Cardinal, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

According to Thamel, starting wide receiver Duce Robinson and right tackle Micah Pettus are expected to play. They are also expecting wide receiver Jayvan Boggs and running back Roydell Williams to return. All four players were listed as questionable on the initial injury report for the game, which will be updated Saturday before the start of the game.

Robinson is FSU’s top wide receiver, leading them in receptions (25), yards (443), and touchdowns (3). Boggs started multiple games for the Seminoles before suffering an injury and missing the Virginia and Pitt games. The true freshman has caught 5 passes for 47 yards and one touchdown. They are also getting Squirrel White back for the game, who also didn’t play against Pitt.

Pettus started FSU’s first five games but left the Miami game with an injury and was unable to play against Pitt. Williams is a co-starter at running back but has played in just two games due to injuries, running the ball seven times for 14 yards and catching five passes for 46 yards.

The game between FSU and Stanford is set to start at 10:30 p.m. ET inside Stanford Stadium. The game will be on ESPN, and it is the first time they have ever played.
