Biden policies lead to Minneapolis tragedy

For the last few days, the focus of the news has been whether Renee Nicole Good – the woman killed in Minneapolis – was shot in self-defense and who was responsible.

But that misses the real issue.

This event never would have occurred if former President Joe Biden hadn’t allowed illegal immigrants to flow into our country by the millions, thus requiring their removal by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under existing law.

And it never would have occurred if ICE agents had not been harassed in the performance of their duties by automobiles attempting to block their paths and driving into them – actions well beyond anything contemplated by the Constitution as a protected right to demonstrate.

Add in the rhetoric of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and other elected officials referring to ICE agents as “Nazis” and you have the perfect conditions for this tragic event to have occurred.

The agent firing his weapon as the car approached him was simply inevitable.

Maduro removal hardly ‘flawless’

It’s a little disturbing to me how almost everyone – even pundits I like and respect – describes former Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro’s removal from that country as a flawless operation.

They seem to feel the need to compliment our military and the CIA on how well it went.

I’ve even heard it referred to as the “perfect extraction” – as if it were a dental procedure.

As I understand it, Maduro’s removal was illegal according to international law, and it was against what more than two-thirds of Americans approved of doing.

In addition, it led to the deaths of at least 80 people during the operation.

That’s 80 human beings, most likely with families and children, wiped from the face of the Earth because one man wanted to flex his muscle and show his power – no matter the cost to humanity.

I don’t view that as the “perfect extraction” by any definition.
