Reader's choice: SW Florida Boys, Girls Tennis Player of the Year Vote

The News-Press and Naples Daily News unveiled their 2026 All-Area Boys Tennis and Girl Tennis Team selections.

We honored Southwest Florida’s top athletes by naming First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mentions lists for boys tennis and girls tennis.

We also named a Player of the Year from among the 6 First-Team honorees with Barron Collier’s William Freshwater was named the boys winner and Te’Anna Mata of Naples as the girls winner.

Now we will let you have your say. Do you agree with our pick for Player of the Year, or do you prefer a different First-Team selection?
