Quarterback target is 'really excited' to watch FSU's offense

The FSU Seminoles have been recruiting 2028 quarterback Luke Rubley since 2024 and were the first school to issue him a scholarship offer in June of that year.

That offer came after he attended a camp in Tallahassee, and he was back on campus this weekend for another camp. It was his fourth time visiting FSU overall, and he explained why he keeps returning, despite living in Aurora, Colorado.

“I think it is just the coaches and the relationships,” Rubley told Chris Nee of Noles247. “They are just very genuine. They care about you. You can tell they care about their players, too. And the offense, I am really excited for this year to watch them.

Rubley is ranked as the No. 301 overall player and No. 21 quarterback in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 3 player from Colorado.

While he has visited FSU numerous times since 2024, he has yet to watch a game in Doak Campbell Stadium. That is something that he plans to change this season.

“Yes,” Rubley said when asked if he would be back for a game. “It is a little bit of a trek, getting down here. But when I get here, it’s a great spot.”

He had a productive sophomore season at Regis Jesuit High School. He completed 60.8% of his passes for 2,084 yards, 20 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He rushed for four more touchdowns.
