Not only does Florida have an abundance of beautiful beaches and exciting theme parks, but it also has its fair share of grocery stores. And they are always coming.
From nearly two dozen Aldi locations to the first-ever H-Mart in the state, several grocery stores are opening up new locations across the state.

21 new Aldi stores coming to Florida
There are at least 21 more Aldi locations coming soon to Florida as of Sept. 15, according to Aldi’s grand opening page, many of them former Winn-Dixie sites:
Three new Publix stores coming to Florida
Publix announced on its website that three new Publix stores would be opening in Florida in September 2025:
As of Sept. 15, Publix has opened 13 stores this year in Florida.
Two new Trader Joe’s stores coming to Florida
According to its website, there are two Trader Joe’s stores opening in Florida:
The opening dates for both stores are still unknown.
Two new Sprouts stores coming to Florida
According to its website, two locations on the Gulf Coast are opening this November:
A store in Melbourne also opened up earlier this year.
Two new Walmart stores coming to Florida
Five new Walmart stores are slated to open by the end of September. A Walmart spokesperson told USA TODAY there will be two new Walmart locations in Florida:
Six new Target stores coming to Florida
According to USA TODAY, Target is opening new stores across 22 states, including six new stores in Florida.
New H-Mart store coming to Florida
In the midst of new grocery stores, Florida is getting its first H-Mart, which is the largest US-based grocery store chain that specializes in Asian-style products.
Located at 7501 W. Colonial Drive in Orlando, the store will open to the public on Thursday, Sept. 25.
Two Whole Foods stores opened in Florida
Two new Whole Foods locations opened up in Florida back in February and June:
