Daytona Beach police said they arrested a man who shot and critically wounded a victim May 13 near Bethune-Cookman University.
In a Facebook post made on May 15, police said Key’shaun Martin Jr. was arrested in connectiion with the shooting and was charged with attempted murder.
No new information or details of the shooting were released by police.
On May 13, Daytona Beach police said the victim, who was taken to the hospital in critical condition, was shot in the 800 block of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard around 12:35 p.m.
Martin fled from the scene before officers arrived, police said.
Police said the shooting remains an active and ongoing investigation.
