The UIL high school softball postseason is here, with teams needing to post first-round playoff results by the end of the day Saturday, April 25.
The softball and baseball postseasons are different from many other UIL sports, as opposing coaching staffs can decide whether to play a best-of-three series or a single-game playoff.
After the bi-district round, teams move on to the area round, then the regional semifinal, regional final, state semifinal and finally, the state championship at Red & Charline McCombs Field in Austin, May 28-30.
This article will serve as a hub for live schedules and scores in the West Texas, Concho Valley, and San Angelo areas.
