Person killed in crash involving Brightline train in Florida

A person on a bicycle died May 26 following a collision involving a Brightline train, a Martin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson stated.

The incident occurred the morning of May 26 at Southeast Monterey Road and Southeast Dixie Highway, just east of U.S. 1, stated Christine Christofes, sheriff’s spokesperson.
