Fort Pierce Police initially reported on social media shortly after 9 a.m. they were looking for someone “related to a domestic violence incident,” though agency spokesperson Juliana Walker stated about 4 p.m. that it was determined not to be a domestic violence incident.

“Initial investigation revealed that this was a dispute involving an adult female and two adult males,” Walker stated. “Shots were fired, but no one was injured and no property was damaged.”

She stated the shots were fired outside the Days Inn.

Jerahmel Walker, 42, of Fort Pierce, was arrested on a charge of unlawful display of a firearm while wearing a mask.

The police spokesperson did not know whether Walker fired the shots.

Police said the incident is being investigated.
