Pensacola police are evacuating portions of Lakeview Avenue after potential bomb threat

Residents are being evacuated from the area of 1301 W. Lakeview Ave. after Pensacola police received calls about a potential bomb.

PPD spokesperson Mike Wood said bomb squad is en route to the scene after officers located a “suspicious backpack.”
