Pedestrian killed in Port Orange wreck on South Nova Road

A wreck involving a vehicle and a pedestrian left one person dead around midnight on Saturday, Nov. 8, in Port Orange, according to the Port Orange Police Department.

The wreck happened in the 3500 Block of S. Nova Road near Madeline Avenue. The pedestrian died at the scene. The driver and two passengers were not injured.

Police didn’t share details about what happened or the names of those involved, and were waiting to notify next-of-kin.
