Top high school performers in Oshkosh, Fond du Lac from April 13-19

The weather postponed and cancelled some games last week, but when Oshkosh, Fond du Lac athletes got a chance to play, they made sure to make the most of it.

Here are the top prep performers from April 13 – April 19 in the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area.

Every week, the number of top performers per sport can change, and the list just includes standout performances that deserve recognition. One more standard that is set is that there’s no more than one athlete chosen per team, per sport.

Baseball

Michael Santiago, Lourdes Academy: Santiago went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a win over Hustisford/Dodgeland.

Lucky Pahl, Winneconne: Pahl had nine strikeouts in seven innings pitched, gave up five hits and two runs in a win over Shawano.

Jackson Anderson, Oshkosh North: Anderson pitched five innings and had 10 strikeouts while allowing three runs and two hits. He also went 1-for-2 with two walks.

Kevin Keller, Mayville: Keller went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a win over Campbellsport.

Cullen Reis, Campbellsport: Reis went 2-for-3 with a walk and a double against Mayville.

Tillman Madigan, Laconia: In a win over St. Mary’s Springs, Madigan pitched six innings with nine strikeouts, three hits and allowed no runs. He also went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

Max Sadownikow, St. Mary’s Springs: In a loss to Laconia, Sadownikow went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Sam Ferguson, Winnebago Lutheran: In a win over Lomira, Ferguson pitched six innings and had 10 strikeouts, allowed three hits and an earned run.

Girls Soccer

Lola Rich, Winnebago Lutheran: Rich scored three goals in a win over Lomira.

Sosa Hernandez, Fond du Lac: Hernandez scored a goal in a tie with Plymouth.

Softball

Colleen Fitzpatrick, Oshkosh West: Fitzpatrick went 4-for-4 with five RBIs, two triples, one home run and a walk in a win against Appleton West.

Haleigh Caspary, Lomira: Caspary pitched a complete game shutout against Laconia and had nine strikeouts and allowed three hits.

Zella Tidemanson, Lourdes Academy: Tidemanson had 10 strikeouts, allowed no runs and gave up two hits in five innings pitched against Menominee Nation. She also went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI.

Caitlyn Krause, Waupun: Krause had 13 strikeouts, allowed two hits and a run in seven innings pitched in a win against Algoma.

Mackenzie Helsell, Campbellsport: In a win over Waterloo, Helsell had two doubles and two RBIs.

Lakelyn Sobieski, Berlin: Sobieski had a double and an RBI in a loss to Omro.

Keyanna Rank, Winnebago Lutheran: Rank went 3-for-3 with three RBIs in a win over St. Mary’s Springs.

Quinn Goldapske, Ripon: Goldapske went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs and a walk in a win over Berlin.

Boys Track and Field

Andrew Oehler, Oshkosh North: Oehler took first in the discus (149-5) and second in the shot put (49-0) at the Appleton West FVA Boys Quad.

Nathan Viau, Fond du Lac: Viau took first in the triple jump (40-6) and second in the long jump (19-6) at the Appleton West FVA Boys Quad.

Carter Crowe, Oshkosh West: Crowe took first place in the 1,600 meters (4:39.62) at the Appleton West FVA Boys Quad.

Garrett Garcia, North Fond du Lac: Garcia took first in the 800 meters (2:14.35) at the Rosholt Early Bird.

Girls Track and Field

Abigail Tercha, Oshkosh West: Tercha took first in the 800 meters with a time of 2:30.44 at the Oshkosh West girl’s quad.

Sunjaya Greenlee, North Fond du Lac: Greenlee took first in the 100 meters (12.46) and long jump (17-5) and second in the 200 meters (26.48) at the Rosholt Early Bird.

Kate Brenner, Fond du Lac: Brenner took first in the pole vault (6-6) at the Oshkosh West Girl’s Quad.

Adri Clark, Oshkosh North: Clark took first in the 1,600 meters (5:49.27) at the Oshkosh West Girl’s Quad.
