Bessemer Trust, a venerable private banking firm in Palm Beach, is planning to move a mile west into a new office tower planned along the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach.

Big name chefs, restaurant groups remake Palm Beach County dining scene post pandemic
The next time you dine out in Palm Beach County, where will you go? Will it be a fancy steakhouse that hails from Manhattan? A Chicago favorite for rosé wine? A new restaurant from a big-name chef with Michelin pedigree? Or perhaps a local hidden gem that only the locals seem to frequent?
For decades, and possibly with the exception of the town of Palm Beach, fine dining options across Palm Beach County were slim. Casual dining spots were limited to cookie-cutter concepts like Chilis and TGIFridays, with only a handful of local options.
Although chains once dominated the South Florida dining landscape, the last 15 years have yielded the slow and steady growth of a local food scene. It was a movement largely propelled by operators and a short list of talented chefs, some of whom even caught the attention of the James Beard Foundation.
