Florida State entered the race for 2027 four-star offensive lineman JJ Brown when they offered him back in February. The 6-foot-6, 305-pounder also took an unofficial visit to Tallahassee in April.
Brown has around 30 offers, but he’s down to his top six schools. They’re the Georgia Bulldogs, Clemson Tigers, Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers, Kentucky Wildcats, and FSU per 247Sports. Also, he’s set to begin his official visit schedule soon.
His first will be to Clemson on March 29. Brown will visit Georgia on June 5, Auburn on June 12, and then Kentucky on June 19. All of these will be multi-day trips.
Brown is listed as the nation’s No. 328 overall prospect and the No. 32 offensive tackle per 247Sports composite rankings. He’s ranked as the No. 35 recruit in the state of Georgia.
A decision from Brown is expected to come in July. Another official visit could possibly be scheduled from one of his other suitors, which gives Florida State a shot to sneak one in before Brown commits.
