Norton Museum sees two seasonal Palm Beachers join board of trustees

The Norton Museum of Art’s Board of Trustees has elected seasonal Palm Beach residents Robin Loewenberg Tebbe and Kimberly Bluhm as its newest members.

“This is an exciting time for the Norton Museum of Art,” Norton Board of Trustees Chair Kelly Williams said in a release. “The passion and depth of experience Kimberly and Robin bring to the Board will be invaluable as the Norton continues to grow.”

Tebbe, a graduate of Chicago’s School of the Art Institute of Chicago, lives in the North End. She worked until retirement as chief marketing officer of Chicago’s Magellan Development Group, her family’s real estate firm.

She serves as a trustee of Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago and Colorado’s Anderson Ranch Arts Center, according to the release. Tebbe also is president of Chicago investment firm LIFT Management and the Loewenberg Charitable Foundation.

Bluhm, who lives in Midtown, had her interest in art and culture sparked during her time in Budapest in the late 1990s and early 2000s as then-wife of the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary, the release says. During that time, she visited museums and provided input to the embassy’s art programs, according to the release.

She also has been involved with New York City’s Whitney Museum and the Art Institute in Chicago, where her husband, billionaire real estate and casino magnate Neil Bluhm, serves on the boards of both institutions.

Bluhm also serves on the Chairman’s Cabinet of the Palm Beach Police and Fire Foundation.
