At the top of the pay scale is City Manager Gary Young with a salary of $300,000. He was sworn in Feb. 5 after serving as the chief deputy auditor for the city of Canton, Ohio, where he had a 30-year career in finance with the city.

He’s followed by Deputy City Manager Maria Gallet, at $219,546; Director of Public Works Robert Middleton, at $206,165; Fire Chief Phillip Pennington, at $199,078; and Chief of Police Ciro Dominguez, at $193,084.
