Miami Dolphins training camp stock up/stock down
Stock Up
LT Patrick Paul ― Patrick continues to excel and to do so against notable pass rushers. On this day, he held his own against the Jaguars’ Josh Hines-Allen, even throwing him down to the ground in one 1-on-1 drill.
S Minkah Fitzpatrick ― Minkah had yet another training camp interception. He has stood out since returning and fills a big void in the wake of Jevon Holland’s departure. The best part? Fitzpatrick isn’t just a talented player. He’s a player youngsters can model.
Stock Down
G Jonah Savaiinaea ― We don’t mean to pile onto a rookie guard. But he had his hands full at times on Thursday. He will continue to work hard and surely will continue to improve. Just don’t expect dominance and consistency immediately.
RB Jaylen Wright ― We are hoping Wright’s apparent lower-body injury is not too serious. But he did leave the field with trainers. The Dolphins’ running back situation is concerning at the moment, with Alexander Mattison already down for the season.
