A Mexican business executive has parted with her ocean-block townhouse on the near North End of Palm Beach for a recorded $11.39 million
Angelica Fuentes had paid $10.7 for the property at 160 Sunset Ave. three years ago, property records show.
She just sold it to a Delaware-registered limited liability company named Sunset PB Residence LLC. The buyer has a mailing address in care of the law firm of attorney Stacy J. Rutman in Miami Beach, according to the deed recorded July 1. Because of Delaware’s strict corporate privacy rules, no other informaion about any directly associated with the buyer was immediately available in public records.
Part of a duplex built in 2004, the three-level townhouse has four bedrooms and 5,210 square feet of living space, inside and out. The townhouse is larger than many Palm Beach homes on the North End.
The residence stands two streets north of The Breakers and is down the street from the Publix supermarket and shopping and dining venues.
Fuentes is an investor and entrepreneur who has specialized in the energy industry and consumer goods, according to an online biographical sketch. Forbes Magazine once recognized her as among Mexico’s most powerful women.
Agent Greg Forest of Serhant had co-listed the property with agent Gary Pohrer, also of Serhant. They acquired the listing in February, when they priced the townhouse at just under $13 million before dropping the price to $12.45 million, the multiple listing service shows. The property had been on the market with several other agents since October 2024, when it was priced at just under $16 million.
Broker Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate represented the buyer. Angle and Forest declined to comment on the transaction or discuss the parties involved.
Serhant’s sales listing described the residence’s high ceilings, which “create a dramatic backdrop ideal for an art collection, while expansive living spaces flow seamlessly to the outdoors.” The layout includes a formal dining room, a library and an exercise room.
A colonnaded loggia with a terrace above it looks out to the private swimming pool. Other selling points includes an elevator, a gated driveway and a two-car garage.
Fuentes bought the townhouse in June 2023 from wealth-manager Stanford “Sandy” B. Ehrenkranz and his photographer wife, Elizabeth, property records show. They acquired it in December 2004, shortly after it was completed as a speculative project by The Cury Group.
