The 2026 Big Bend track and field season was filled with memorable performances and record-breaking showings from local athletes. Multiple individuals won state titles, and other programs earned impressive finishes at the state championships.
Let’s take a look at all the athletes who made the 2026 All-Big Bend track and field teams.
2026 All-Big Bend Boys Track Runner of the Year: Davion Crumitie, Rickards
Few people in the country are as fast as Rickard’s speedster Davion Crumitie, who blazed his way to state championships in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes in the Class 3A division for the Raiders.
His 100-meter time of 10.05 is the quickest in the state of Florida and is the eighth fastest time in the country. Crumitie has set local and set records with his blazing speed and was instrumental in Rickard’s success as a program on the track this season.
For his excellence on the track, Davion Crumitie has been named the 2026 All-Big Bend Boys Runner of the Year!
2026 All-Big Bend Boys Field Athlete of the Year: Micah Deem, Florida High
The legacy of throwers in the Big Bend continues as Florida High’s Micah Deem stood atop the podium at the state championships in Jacksonville.
One of the elite throwers in the state, Deem took home gold in the shot put of the 2A Division with a 54-5 (16.59 meter) toss. It was just short of a personal record for the Seminole, who recorded that at the FSU Relay with a 54-11.75 (16.76 meter) toss.
For his outstanding season on the field, Micah Deem is the 2026 All-Big Bend Boys Field Athlete of the Year!
2026 All-Big Bend Girls Track Runner of the Year: Journee Belcher, Rickards
There isn’t much that Journee Belcher can’t do on the track or the field. The Rickards superstar took home gold in the high jump, 200-meter dash, and 400-meter dash, an all-around performance for the ages at the FHSAA State Championships.
It was a remarkable season for Belcher, capped off with the trio of golds at the state meet. Her 200-meter winning time of 23.60 was a personal best alongside a personal best of a 53.19 winning time in the 400-meter. She added a high jump of 5-7.5 (1.72 meters) to round out her incredible day and cap off a stunning season of success.

2026 All-Big Bend Girls Field Athlete of the Year: Kennedy Scott, Lincoln
Few throwers in the area are as consistent and successful as Lincoln’s Kennedy Scott, who added a state title in discus and a top-eight placement in shot put to her resume this season.
Scott crushed the competition in the discus with a 154-7.75 (47.14 meter) mark, nearly two meters better than the second-place finisher. It’s a mark that ranks second best in the state of Florida and is the 37th best throw in the country this season. Add in her 38-10.5 (11.85 meters) toss in the shot put, good for eighth at the state championships, and Scott put together a dominant season.
For her standout year, Kennedy Scott has been named the 2026 All-Big Bend Girls Field Athlete of the Year!
2026 All-Big Bend Boys Track and Field Coach of the Year: Damarius Carroll, Lincoln
It was a remarkable year for Lincoln on both track and field, with team titles coming in the form of district and regional crowns, alongside a strong finish at the FHSAA State Championship 3A meet, placing third.
Led by head coach Damarius Carroll, the Trojans’ success has been sustained for years. For his team’s success, Carroll has been named the 2026 All-Big Bend Boys Coach of the Year!
2026 All-Big Bend Girls Track and Field Coach of the Year: Terraca Jones, Rickards
Terraca Jones navigated her Rickards program to top-three finishes in the district, regional, and state championships in a remarkable season for the Radiers. Third-place finishes in the district and state meets, paired with a second-place regional finish.
For the remarkable achievements by the Raiders team and individual athletes, Terraca Jones has been named the 2026 All Big Bend Girls Coach of the Year!
