Even though Duke has orbited the sun for nine and a half years, by no means is he in the back nine of his life. Duke is the poster pooch for congeniality and chill outlook on life. He’s qualified to teach a master class called Leash Behavior 101 since walks with him are leisurely while he explores his ‘hood. Duke may be a tad selective, so introducing him to other canines should be a gradual process. So, who’s ready to welcome Duke into his forever family? He’s ready to relax, body bump and curl up with you.

Bean

Breed: Bulldog

Gender: Male

Weight: 71 pounds

Age: 1 year

Orphaned Since: April 14

Adoption Fee: $250

Squeeze a toy that makes noise and Bean the Bulldog will come a-runnin’ for boisterous playtime. Bean’s over-the-top exuberance trips into overdrive during leash walks but he’s also willing to embrace slo-mo outings. If it’s wet ― pond, river, pool ― Bean’s ready to jump in for a splash or swim.  After shaking post-swim, he’ll be in the mood for an epic cuddlethon. Stop by with a treat or toy, and he’ll be ready to “talk” about a one-way trip home.

Neptune

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Gender: Male

Weight: 6 1/2 pounds

Age: 5 months

Orphaned Since: March 4

Adoption Fee: $100

In mythology, Neptune is the god of the sea, but the kitty with the same name is comfy being a landlubber. He’s a couch cuddler who loves to relax during quiet times. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Neptune’s high energy DNA manifests itself during laser-light and wand-toy chases. At SPCA Florida’s Tinker’s Legacy cattery, you’ll find him schmoozing with other felines, but he can be ready in one “meow” to go home with you.

Angelica

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Gender: Female

Weight: 11 pounds

Age: 5 years

Orphaned Since: April 7

Adoption Fee: $50

Angelica has the perfect name since she was sent from heaven to transition into her earthly home and family. She needs a little TLC while she thaws out and sheds her shyness. But once she gets acquainted, she’ll smother you with affection. At the moment she’s free range at SPCA Florida’s Administration Office but is anxious to transition to her forever home. Stop by soon to meet this adorable cutie.
