FSU softball head coach Lonni Alameda was named the 2025 ACC Coach of the Year on Wednesday.
It is her seventh time winning the award and she has now won two of the past three years. She guided the No. 3 Seminoles to the 2025 ACC Regular-Season Championship after they went 18-3 in conference play and 44-8 overall.
She wasn’t the only Seminole honored as seven players earned a spot on the All-ACC Teams. Shortstop Isa Torres, pitcher Jazzy Francik, and outfielder Jahni Kerr all made the first team. Outfielder Katie Dack, pitcher Ashtyn Danley, and catcher Michaela Edenfield made the second team, and outfielder Kennedy Harp was named to the third team. Francik also made the All-Freshman team.
The group helped the Seminoles win all seven of their conference series this season and earn the No. 1 seed in the ACC Softball Tournament. They will start their quest for a second championship on Thursday when they play the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the quarterfinals.
