Lion Country Safari ranked among the top 20 safari parks. Here's why

Lion Country Safari in Loxahatchee has earned the sixth spot on a new list of the top 20 local safari parks in the nation.  

According to data released by car rental company SIXT, U.S. searches for local safari parks skyrocketed by 781% over the past year. SIXT ranked the destinations using a multifaceted analysis that compared the total number of species and physical space, alongside secondary factors like pricing and social-media popularity.

As America’s first cageless zoo, Lion Country Safari offers an immersive wildlife experience across its 600-acre property. The park is home to roughly 90 species, featuring the largest herd of zebras in the U.S. Visitors can enjoy the self-guided tour from the comfort of their own vehicles. General admission tickets are $50 on weekdays and $55 on weekends.
