We’re monitoring the cut line at the 2026 Memorial Tournament to see which PGA Tour stars could miss the cut at Muirfield Village.
The Memorial is one of the few limited-field Signature Events that included a cut after the second round. Two-time reigning champion Scottie Scheffler double-bogeyed the 16th hole in Round 1 after his tee shot into the water sparked a frustrated back-and-forth with his caddie. A birdie on No. 17 helped bring him above the projected cut line entering today’s round.
Cameron Young and Matt Fitzpatrick, No. 2 and 3 respectively in the FedEx Cup standings, also could use a bounce-back day to survive the cut. Justin Thomas and Chris Gotterup entered Round 2 on the projected cut line, while Robert MacIntyre, Jacob Bridgeman and Rickie Fowler need a big swing to stay alive. Memorial Tournament cut line
Aa of 10:30 a.m. Friday, the cut line at the Memorial was 2 over par. Players with a score of 2 over or better after today’s round would qualify for the weekend’s rounds if the projected cut line holds. Projections from DataGolf estimate the final cut line likely will be 4 over.

How many players make the cut at the Memorial?
Of the 72 players who entered the tournament, 50 are guaranteed to make the cut and play this weekend. That number can grow to account for ties. Last year, 57 players made the cut at 6 over.

Round 2 of the 2026 Memorial Tournament broadcasts nationally on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. today. Rounds 3 and 4 will start on Golf Channel at 12:30 p.m. before switching to CBS at 2:30 p.m. June 6-7.
