Jaguars enter 2026 NFL Draft with no first, loaded with Day 2 picks

Though we are months away from the 2026 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars will soon go into full evaluation mode, preparing to add to the team that just finished a 13-4 season as the AFC South champions.

Though Jacksonville was incredibly successful in their first year under new leadership headed up by head coach Liam Coen, general manager James Gladstone and EVP of football operations Tony Boselli, they’re constantly looking to get better. The NFL Draft is one of the most important parts of that process.

“We’re not going to just stand here and say, ‘man, we’re just going to re-do it all with all the same, same, same, same,’ because that got us 13 wins and knocked out of the playoffs in the first round,” Coen said at his joint end-of-season press conference with Gladstone.

“Clearly, it was not good enough for the full end-of-the-season standard, but 31 other teams are having a similar conversation, and they will have a similar conversation…. Every year is a new year. Every team is a new team. That’s what this offseason will be able to provide.”

Here’s where the team stands in the 2026 NFL Draft as of Jan. 21, 2026.

Do the Jaguars have a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft?

No, the Jaguars do not have a first-round pick for the first time in franchise history after dealing the selection to the Cleveland Browns last year to move up from the fifth-overall pick to the second-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, ultimately selecting cornerback/receiver Travis Hunter.

Here are the full details of the Jaguars’ trade with the Browns to acquire Hunter:

Jacksonville sent the fifth-overall pick, a 2025 second-round pick (No. 36), a 2025 fourth-round pick (No. 126) and their 2026 first-round pick in exchange for the Browns’ second-overall pick, a 2025 fourth-round pick (No. 104) and a 2025 sixth-round pick (No. 200).

Jaguars 2026 NFL Draft features 4 selections in top-100

The Jaguars currently hold 11 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. The selections include four picks in the top-100, a coveted spot for talented players, and a pool of picks for the team to use if they opt to move around in the draft.

Note: Official draft order will not be set until after the Super Bowl and compensatory picks are awarded to teams.
