Jacksonville Jaguars sign two, including veteran CB Dane Jackson

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed offensive lineman Trystan Colon and cornerback Dane Jackson, the team announced Thursday afternoon.

In corresponding moves, the team placed CB Keith Taylor on injured reserve, while they waived OL Sam Wormley.

Colon, 28, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020. He has appeared in 63 games (19 starts), playing for three teams, including the Ravens (2020-22), Cardinals (2023-24) and Lions (2025).

Jackson, 29, was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Pittsburgh. He played six seasons for Buffalo (2020-23, 2025) and one year for the Panthers (2024).

Jackson played in 64 games (31 starts), accounting for 169 total tackles, three tackles for loss, 30 pass breakups, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

The Jaguars have conducted five Organized Team Activities thus far this offseason with near-perfect attendance. The only players who have not participated due to injuries are OL Cole Van Lanen, wide receiver/CB Travis Hunter, CB Jourdan Lewis and running back Chris Rodriguez Jr.
