A woman suffered serious injuries after her e-bike crashed with another car, authorities say.
The wreck happened about 3:30 p.m. June 3 at the intersection of Holy Court and North Collier Boulevard, according to Marco Island Police.
Authorities said the female e-bike rider was airlifted by helicopter and taken to a hospital, while the driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Since Jan. 1, there have been 43 bicycle crashes in Collier County, causing two deaths.
Police said the crash remains under investigation and ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has photos, video or information is encouraged to contact police at 239-389-5050.
