St. Augustine Humane Society’s Pin Up Paws Auction kicks off Sept. 29 and runs through Nov. 1.
The community-driven fundraiser, now in its 15th year, offers one-of-a-kind “everythings” from St. Augustine getaways and dining to specialty shopping. A live raffle for a Michael Dolsey Tuna Stand-Up Paddleboard, donated by Aqua East Surf Shop, is also now underway.
Krista Brown, the society’s development director, described the event as a meaningful tradition.
“Pin Up Paws brings together the generosity of local businesses and supporters to directly help families and their pets,” she said in a news release. “Every bid makes a difference in providing affordable veterinary care and essential services for our community.”
The auction spotlights the organization’s signature fundraising event, the Pin Up Paws Gala, which will be Oct. 23 at The White Room in historic downtown St. Augustine.
Event proceeds assist the Humane Society’s efforts to reduce pet overpopulation, prevent animal surrender and ensure access to veterinary resources for all families in Northeast Florida.
