It appears President Donald Trump is poised to return to his home in the Sunshine State.
New notices from the Federal Aviation Administration and Boca Raton Airport Authority indicated Trump will be at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach March 13-15.
The notices caution that presidential-level temporary flight restrictions are forthcoming for that timeframe for the airspace over Palm Beach.
Similar notices were issued for Palm Beach for the previous weekend, but were canceled after Trump eschewed Mar-a-Lago in favor of remaining at his Trump National Golf Club resort, where he met with Latin American during the Shield of the Americas summit, and House Republican leaders during their annual retreat.
One sign of potential presidential visits to Palm Beach has been in place since March 3, when the U.S. Secret Service indefinitely closed the coastal road next to Trump’s Palm Beach home for tighter security related to the Iran war. South Ocean Boulevard between the Southern Boulevard traffic circle and South County Road had typically closed at 5 a.m. on the day Trump was expected to arrive in Palm Beach.
This trip would mark Trump’s 23rd visit to Mar-a-Lago since taking office Jan. 20, 2025, for his second term as president.
His most recent stay on the island was Feb. 27 to March 1, a time during which he oversaw the initial U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran.
Trump and first lady Melania Trump declared Mar-a-Lago their permanent residence in 2019.
