When is National Chicken Finger Day?
National Chicken Finger Day is Sunday, July 27. The day was started by fan-favorite fast food chain Raising Cane’s back in 2010.
“National Chicken Finger Day was created in 2010 by Raising Cane’s Founder, Todd Graves, as a way to recognize and celebrate our delicious chicken fingers,” read Raising Cane’s history of National Chicken Finger Day. “The holiday was created to celebrate the MVP of the menu – the chicken finger.”

Raising Cane’s deals for National Chicken Finger Day
Raising Cane’s is adding a free extra fried chicken finger to every combo box as part of the National Chicken Finger Day celebration.
“No code or coupon required, just an extra reason to celebrate the holiday Raising Cane’s started 16 years ago,” Raising Cane’s said in a media release. “There isn’t a limit, either. The more Box Combos ordered; the more free Chicken Fingers to enjoy!”
According to its website, there are 22 Raising Cane’s locations in Florida.
Huey Magoos deals for National Chicken Finger Day
Florida-based fast food chain Huey Magoo’s is giving away five free Tender Bites with the purchase of any three-piece or larger Tender Meal. The offer is available for one day only on Sunday, July 27, online and at all participating locations, while supplies last.
“We proudly serve chicken tenders, never fingers, and there’s a reason for that,” Andy Howard, CEO and president of Huey Magoo’s, said in a press release. “Let’s be honest, chickens don’t have fingers. What we serve is the tenderloin, the most tender, premium 3% of the chicken. That’s why we’ve trademarked it as the Filet Mignon of Chicken.
“Whether grilled or hand-breaded, our tenders are made fresh to order and crafted with care. We’re excited to mark the occasion with something that truly reflects the quality we stand for.”
There are 39 Huey Magoos locations across Florida.
Has Chick-fil-A, Zaxby’s announced deals for National Chicken Tender Day?
As of July 23, chains, such as Chick-fil-A, PDQ, McDonald’s and Zaxby’s haven’t officially announced any National Chicken Finger Day deals or promotions.
Still, individual locations may offer discounts on Sunday.
