The 4 on the par-4 ninth whole gave him an even-par 70 for the round on the Grace Course at the Saucon Valley Country Club. Woods sits at 5-over 146 in two rounds, a 14-way tied for 63rd. But there’s just one problem: Only the top 64 can advance to match play rounds.

Starting on the par-5 first hole of the Grace Course, and continuing on the par-3 fifth and then the par-4 18th, the players two surviving players will advance to the match play round of 64 later in the morning on the Old Course. The two players awaiting for the playoff winners: Miles Russell and Brayden Jones.

Woods’ best stretch in Round 2 began with an eagle 2 on the par-4 13th. Though he gave a shot back on the 14th hole, the closing stretch featured birdied on 16 and 18, meaning he finished his first nine holes at 2-under 33.

On July 20, Woods shot a 5-over 76 on the Old Course at Saucon Valley.

The soon-to-be senior at The Benjamin School is coming off missing the cut at the U.S. Amateur qualifying in Columbus, Ohio, earlier this month.
