PANAMA CITY BEACH ― Panama City Beach has been one of most popular beach destinations in the world for quite some time.
It’s not just the sun and sand. The area is loaded with things to do, from dinner theater to golf, nature trails and fishing, new things are seemingly added all the time.
Here’s a look at a handful of the favorite things to do in Bay County for locals and tourists.
TopGolf
Enjoy Panama City Beach’s top golf entertainment complex. Topgolf opened in June. The building has two main floors where people can enjoy golfing and eating. Topgolf is located at 15475 Topgolf Way.

Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show
Entertainment and dining combine as Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show features a breathtaking showcase of sword fights, cannons and pirates scaling high above two full-sized pirate ships in a “fight” to win Davey Jones’ coveted sunken treasure. Pirates Voyage is located at 16061 Panama City Beach Parkway.
The Beach
Take in some of the most beautiful beaches the world has to offer. Panama City Beach is known for its clean beaches and clear waters.
Panama City Beach has two piers: M.B. Miller and Russell Fields. Russell Field Pier is located 16201 Front Beach Road. M.B. Miller Pier is located at 12213 Front Beach Road.
Hiking
Gayle’s Trails, Aaron Bassant Park, Conservation Park Trailhead, Frank Brown Park, and Alys Beach Nature Trail are all great places to hike and exercise.
Shipwreck Island Waterpark
The whole family can have a blast in the water and waves while enjoying the park’s themed rides and attractions. This waterpark is located at 12201 Hutchison Blvd.
Fishing
You and your family can catch a big fish with help from companies such as Southern Dawn Charters, Jubilee Deep Sea Fishing and Hook Em’ Charters.
