What a win for the Seminoles.
The No. 6 FSU softball team picked up its biggest win of the season on Wednesday, beating the No. 2 Florida Gators 4-0 at JoAnne Graf Field in Tallahassee, Florida. They improved to 34-5 with the win and have won their last 14 games.
While the pitching by Ashtyn Danley and Annabelle Widra was sensational, holding Florida’s dangerous lineup to just four runs, the game was all about Jahni Kerr. The veteran hit two home runs to drive in all four of FSU’s runs and give FSU their seventh win over the Gators in the last eight meetings.
The win fired up FSU’s fans and they took to social media to celebrate the win and praise Kerr. Here is a look at some of the best reactions.
