Florida State football has its quarterback for the class of 2027.
Port Charlotte quarterback Logan Flaherty announced his commitment to the Seminoles program on Tuesday, during an event at his school in Southwest Florida. The 3-star signal caller was a long-time target for the program, and he committed to FSU over Rutgers and Georgia Tech, among other schools.
Flaherty, the No. 80 overall player in the USA TODAY Florida Top 100 for 2027, initially committed to UCF, but backed off his commitment in April, giving the Seminoles an opening to bring the 6-foot-2 quarterback to Tallahassee.
He finished his junior season with 2,636 passing yards and 27 touchdowns, while rushing for 595 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Flaherty is the seventh commitment for the Seminoles in the Class of 2027.
