Florida State had prospects from the next several recruiting cycles on campus this past weekend for its first individual camp of the summer. Making his inaugural trip to Tallahassee was 2029 cornerback Ayden Lockette from Carrollton, Georgia.
The first time was without a doubt a charm for Lockette as FSU extended him an offer while he was in town. He also has offers from the Indiana Hoosiers, Ole Miss Rebels, and Memphis Tigers.
“Blessed to receive offer from the Florida state university,” wrote Lockette on social media.
As a freshman, Lockette rotated in at cornerback and also contributed on offense at the quarterback position. He also produced on special teams, returning two punts for a total of 75 yards (longest was 61 yards).
There aren’t any rankings for Lockette at the moment, but when they do drop for the 2029 class, his diverse skill set could get him ranked.
