FSU defensive line target is down to three schools

Official visit season is here for the Florida State Seminoles, and they are working to add to their 2027 recruiting class, which currently has seven members. One area they are working to address is the defensive line, and they received some good news on Thursday.

Errol Demontagnac, a three-star defesive lineman from Seffner, Florida, announced that FSU was one of his three finalists. They are competeting with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Virginia Cavaliers for the 6-foot-3, 290-pounder.

Demontagnac is ranked as the No. 855 overall player and No. 98 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 83 player from Florida.

While FSU is a finalist for him, it does not look like they will win out. The Cornhuskers have received multiple predictions to land him, and are set to host him on an official visit this weekend. That will give them a chance to go ahead and secure a commitment, with FSU scheduled to host him on an official visit next weekend.

He had an excellent junior season at Armwood High School, leading them to an 11-1 record. He recorded 87 tackles, 30.0 tackles for loss, 14.0 sacks, 6.0 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

FSU has already landed two commitments along the defensive line in four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro and three-star defensive lineman Eric Valux Jr. Demontagnac is one of several targets they would like to add to the duo.
