The No. 12 Florida State Seminoles and the Pitt Panthers will no longer play on Friday at Dick Howser Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida, due to inclement weather in the area, the Seminoles announced on social media.
The two programs will make up the game on Saturday with a doubleheader. The first game will now be played at 2 p.m. ET, with the second game starting 50 minutes after it ends. One ticket will be good for both games on Saturday.
This is the second doubleheader that FSU will play this season. They swept one against The Citadel on Feb. 28. FSU head coach Link Jarrett is not typically a fan of playing doubleheaders.
FSU is 29-8 all-time against Pitt, including a 26-5 record in Tallahassee. The Panthers won the series last season at home, with FSU winning the series in 2023 when they hosted.
