Florida State basketball has not stopped going after top-caliber recruits when it comes to all of their sports, and being deep into June has not diminished their spirits ahead of a new 18-game ACC schedule.
Aaron Britt Jr., a four-star, class of 2027 point guard prospect from Villages Charter School (FL), has been steadily rising in 247Sports’ ranking system, going from a top 75 player prior to this weekend to a top 50 status after playing for Section 7 in Arizona. Britt is currently ranked as the ninth-best prospect in the state of Florida and the 13th-best point guard prospect in the nation.
Per 247Sports, Britt has received three major offers, one from the California Golden Bears, the Ole Miss Rebels, and the Florida State Seminoles.
When asked about how his relationship was with the Seminoles coaching staff, Britt has this to say: “I talked to coach [Michael] Fly, that’s my guy. Our relationship is real good. We talk almost every day. He texts me every day and I text him every day. It’s a good relationship between me and him.”
Britt has yet to make any official announcement as to where he will commit, as he does have two full years of high school basketball to get through.
