PANAMA CITY — Four people were killed in a traffic crash in Washington County.
The crash occurred at 9:27 p.m. on May 21, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
One vehicle was a sedan whose driver was from Panama City with two passengers. The other vehicle was a pickup truck driven by an individual from Dothan.
The Sedan was travelling south on State Road 77 in the inside northbound lane. The pickup truck was travelling north in the same lane. The vehicles collided head-on, and both came to a rest in the inside northbound lane. All four people in the vehicles were were pronounced dead at the scene.
At the time of the May 22 release, the FHP said the occupants weren’t identified yet because of a fire.
