Former FSU quarterback Trever Jackson is once again on the move, telling On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he will enter the transfer portal when it opens on Jan. 2. The former Seminole spent the 2025 season with the Arkansas Razorbacks.
He played in one game for Arkansas, playing three snaps in their Week 1 win over Alabama A&M. The Winter Garden, Florida product will have three seasons of eligibility at his next school after serving as FSU’s scout-team quarterback and redshirting in 2024.
While he was a walk-on, Jackson came to FSU as a four-star prospect with over 20 scholarship offers, including several from ACC and SEC programs. He was ranked as the No. 391 overall player and No. 26 quarterback in the 247Sports composite.
He was a three-star transfer when he signed with Arkansas, ranking as the No. 92 quarterback and No. 1304 overall player in the 2025 transfer portal. He has not yet been ranked as a 2026 transfer.
