A new Thai and sushi restaurant plans to open its sixth Florida location in what used to be Bob Evans in Port St. Lucie.
Green Papaya Thai & Sushi Cuisine will open its first Treasure Coast location in Fountainview Boulevard in St. Lucie West. The menu will consist of a blend of Thai staple dishes such as pad Thai, drunken noodles and specialty sushi rolls. There will be a full bar.
The food is meant to be visually appealing and creatively plated without losing their authentic Thai flavors. Their website claims to use fresh ingredients to make top-quality dishes such as crafted signature sushi rolls, curries and variations of fried rice.
Their locations usually take on an elevated style with amber low-lighting, dark leather, emerald green and gold accents.
Green Papaya has five restaurants throughout Florida: three in Jacksonville, one in Altamonte Springs and one in St. Augustine.
Green Papaya Thai and Sushi Cuisine has not given permission for TCPalm to use photos from its website or social media.
