In terms of actual lift, chicken wings fall woefully short. In terms of flavor, however, they’ve been hitting Mach 2 at 60,000 feet for decades.
On July 29 we celebrate this wonderful appendage on National Chicken Wing Day. Whether you prefer flats or drums, traditional fried, smoked, grilled or baked, wings are worth celebrating.
