Edge target to officially visit FSU this weekend

The FSU Seminoles are set to host another large group of official visitors this weekend, and a last-minute addition has been made. According to Chris Nee of Noles247, Chris Addison will be in Tallahassee for an official visit.

Addison is a three-star edge from Winnsboro, Louisiana. They are one of his top five schools and are battling the Arizona State Sun Devils, UCLA Bruins, Michigan State Spartans, and Tulane Green Wave for him. He has already taken official visits to see Arizona State, UCLA, and Michigan State and was scheduled to take his official visit to Tulane this weekend.

He is the No. 542 overall player and No. 52 edge in the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder is also the No. 15 player from Louisiana.

Addison had an excellent junior season for Franklin Parish High School, playing on both sides of the ball. His future is on defense and that was where he was at his best, recording 63 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles in 12 games.

The Seminoles are still looking for their first commitment at the edge position, and Addison has become a name to follow. Four-star edge and Syracuse commit Kamron Wilson was supposed to take an official visit to Tallahassee this weekend, but has canceled it and is returning to Syracuse.
