Does RBC Heritage have a cut? See what PGA Tour events don't

Time for the Friday tradition of watching the cut line for this week’s PGA Tour event, right?

And especially off the heels of the Masters? All eyes should be glued to the leaderboard at the second round of the 2026 RBC Heritage, right?

No, not this week.

The RBC Heritage is one of the Signature Events of the 2026 PGA Tour schedule that does not trim its field at the midpoint. Nearly all tournaments include a 36-hole cut going into the weekend. But all 84 pros playing the Harbour Town Golf Course in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, will finish all four rounds.

This isn’t a totally uncommon occurrence. The RBC Heritage is one of eight tournaments on the PGA Tour this year that doesn’t have a cut. Another one, The American Express in January, has a 54-hole cut. Other than that, though, every PGA Tour event has its participants deal with a cut line during the second round.

Here’s what to know about the cut line on the PGA Tour, as well as how to watch the RBC Heritage on TV and streaming:

What is the cut line?

The field at a PGA Tour tournament is usually more than 150 players deep. To keep the focus on the event’s top contenders, most tournaments trim the field by about half after the second round, or 36 holes.

Exact cut lines depend on the tournament, but typically, the top 60-70 players plus ties after 36 holes qualify for the final two rounds. The score to par of the final player or players who meet that criteria is the cut line, and those who fall below it at the end of the second round will miss the cut for the weekend. The cut line is updated constantly over the course of the second round as players rise and fall on the leaderboard.

For instance, at the Masters, the top 50 players plus ties make the cut. For the 2026 Masters, the cut line was 4 over par, which 54 players reached after two rounds. The 37 players with scores at 5 over or more missed the cut and saw their tournament end Friday.

What is the cut line at RBC Heritage?

There is no cut at the RBC Heritage, so all 84 pros in the field will play through the weekend.

What PGA Tour events have no cuts?

There are no cuts at five of the PGA Tour’s Signature Events and at all three tournaments in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The Sentry typically runs without a cut, as well, but the season-opening tournament was canceled this year. Here’s the full list:
