The chance of a tropical system developing on July 4th continue to increase, but there’s a silver lining.
The tropical system has a 60% chance for development over the next seven days and a 20% chance over the next 48 hours.
The good news is forecasts indicate potential development in the Atlantic, rather than in the Gulf of Mexico, which the Trump administration has renamed the Gulf of America. A gulf system could have sent storms across Florida.
Here’s the current weather forecast for July 4, according to the National Weather Service’s seven-day forecast for the Treasure Coast as of July 3.
