Calling all first responders.
In a show of appreciation, the Destin Chamber Trustee members will be celebrating and thanking local first responders with a free cookout on Sept. 10. at Destin Fire Station No. 9 at 848 Airport Road in Destin from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
What’s on the menu?
The trustees will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. There will also be chips and cookies, as well as soda and water available. CJ’s Hangout had donated the use of their grill for cooking lunch.
Who can come?
All police officers, firefighters, medical personnel, beach safety, EMS and military are invited to the cookout.
Who and what is a chamber trustee?
Trustee membership is the highest membership level in the Destin Chamber, and it shows a significant commitment to and investment in the chamber and in the community. Trustee members include AGM Secure Money LLC, The Barrett School, CRC Data Technologies, Destin – Fort Walton Beach, Eglin Federal Credit Union, Five Channels, Hand Arendall Harrison Sale, HCA Florida Healthcare, Holloway Yacht Charters, Okaloosa Gas District, Trustmark, and Warren Averett.
