More than 50 restaurants, cafés and fast-casual eateries will participate in September’s annual Downtown Delray Beach Restaurant Month, a promotion offering prix fixe meals, happy hour specials and other dining deals throughout the city’s dining district.
The event runs Sept. 1-30 and is organized by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority. Participating businesses will feature a mix of multi-course lunch and dinner menus, discounted drinks, café promotions and other limited-time offers designed to encourage diners to explore Delray Beach’s restaurant scene.

Downtown Delray Restaurant Month overlaps with Flavor South Florida, the countywide dining promotion featuring nearly 100 Palm Beach County restaurants.
“August and September are the slowest time of the year here in South Florida, so restaurants have always leaned into promotions during this stretch. It has become a summer tradition,” said Laura Simon, executive director of the Delray Beach DDA. “Other cities are doing the same thing, and we don’t see it as competing against them. Rather, this is about driving traffic. The more promotion, the better. Our priority as the DDA is always our downtown district here in Delray Beach.”
Together, the two events create one of the year’s biggest opportunities to sample special menus and limited-time offers across Palm Beach County.
“The DDA welcomed us with open arms when we opened, so we’re excited to be part of Restaurant Month again,” said Frankie Brusco, Gabriella’s Modern Italian, a celeb favorite that just added weekend brunch. “We’re also participating in Flavor South Florida for the first time. It’s another opportunity to reach new customers and showcase the dishes our guests love most.”
This year’s Downtown Delray lineup includes a mix of longtime favorites and newer additions, ranging from Le Colonial and Bourbon Steak to Gabriella’s Modern Italian and Tropical Smokehouse.
The roster also includes:
