One of the biggest country stars is opening up their fan-favorite bar in Florida.
Country singer Luke Combs and Opry Entertainment Group announced they will open a third location of the pair’s Category 10 in CityWalk at Universal Orlando Resort.
“I have a line in my song ‘1, 2 Many,’ ‘there’s no stopping me once I get goin.’ Well, I guess you can say the same about Cat 10 now,” Combs said in a statement. “I know Orlando is a worldwide destination spot, so I’m super pumped and humbled that we’re getting to open a location there.”
Opry Entertainment Group is set to break ground on the Orlando location in the summer of 2026, with the venue opening later in 2027. Here’s what we know so far.
Who is Luke Combs? Is Luke Combs from Florida?
Luke Combs, 35, is an award-winning country music singer and songwriter. He has nearly 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has collaborated with artists such as Post Malone and Tracy Chapman.
Combs is not from Florida; however, his wife, Nicole Hocking, was born and raised in Florida. She attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.
“My wife is from Florida, so we’re both super excited about this. I am glad to be bringing our brand of first-class service and awesome tunes to the Sunshine State,” he also shared in his press release.
Combs made Florida and national news in 2023 after he issued a public apology to a Pinellas County woman who was ordered to pay $250,000 for using his likeness on tumblers she sold online. He said he had zero knowledge of the lawsuit and would be trying to make things right.
Where is Universal Orlando’s CityWalk located?

Where will ‘Category 10’ be located in CityWalk?
It is unknown exactly where it will be located in Universal CityWalk Orlando, but officials did share it will be a 33,000 square-foot, three-story bar.
How many Luke Combs ‘Category 10’ bars are there?
The Orlando location will join the flagship bar in Nashville, which opened in 2024, and the recently announced Las Vegas location, slated to open later in 2026.
