Cool temperatures will return to Palm Beach County next week, the National Weather Service in Miami is reporting.
Overnight lows will drop into the 50s by the evening hours of Sunday, Feb. 22, and the high 40s just 24 hours later on Monday, Feb. 23, according to the weather service’s online forecast.
“Robust” northwest winds are forecast to push the cooler air into the region, it said.
The cool temperatures will follow some of the warmest days in the county since the early February cold spell brought record lows to the region and much of the eastern United States. Daytime highs will rise into the mid-80s from Friday, Feb. 20, through Sunday, Feb. 22, forecasters said.
Daytime highs in the mid-60s are expected early next week.
